Good morning beloved child of God.
We have all been offended in life; mad, upset, and we justify it. Great men and women in history have missed God opportunities because they have allowed offenses to dictate their responses and actions at crucial points in their lives.
It’s interesting that Jesus says in Luke 17: 1, “….It is impossible that no offenses should come, but woe to him through whom they do come!”
You know from your daily experiences just how true that is. So, when the next offense comes, what are you going to do with it? Are you going to draw it into your life?
Are you going to think over and over again about what that person said or what they did or did not do? When you do that, you are saying, “Offense, come on in. Be a part of who I am.”
No, don’t do that!
Proverbs 4: 23 says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
satan wants you to be offended. One day you will give God praise for people who hurt you, wronged you and walked out on you. They had to get out to make way for what is coming, in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour.
Have a rejoicing Wednesday in Christ Jesus.
