They may not change, but you can change

Good morning beloved child of God.

To see the greatness God put in you, to be a vessel used for God’s highest purposes, you need to let God refine you and you need to deal with what He brings to light.

You cannot rebuke everything you don’t like. You cannot pray away every grouchy person, the delays, the spouse that gets on your nerves. Those are tests. They may not change, but you can change.

A key to seeing God’s best is to stay pliable, walk in humility, be willing to change. What can you do to get along better in relationships? What improvements can you make? What areas can you come up higher in to have better relationships? Don’t pray for God to change someone else, without first praying, “God, show me where I need to change.”

Sometimes, you are waiting for people to change, and then you will accept them. God accepted you when you were off course.

Romans 5: 8 says, “but God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

He showed you mercy when you were not at your best. Now you need to take that same mercy and show it to someone else, in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour.

Have a merciful Tuesday in Christ Jesus.
