My hope is anchored in Christ

Good afternoon beloved child of God.

You made it through some things that should have killed you, stopped you, and kept you bitter forever. God kept you for right now.

Pay attention to the sound that you are creating in difficult times: when life is not fair, when there is an unexpected challenge, when suddenly you are surrounded.

That is when you have to be on guard and declare, “I am not going to speak defeat. I am not going to complain.
I am not going to talk about how impossible it is.”

The Scripture says in 2 Corinthians 4: 13, “It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”

The spirit of faith is in your words. What you say in the battle makes a difference. It is very powerful when you declare what God says about you. Find the promises in the Scripture. Let those be your battle cry. Don’t talk about how impossible it looks, what the experts say, what has happened in your family in the past. This is a new day. Your battle cry needs to be a sound of victory, a sound of abundance, a sound of healing.

Declare this: “My hope is anchored in Christ. I trust in His unfailing love and believe that He is bringing new life and restoration into every area of my existence, in the name of Jesus Christ my Saviour.”

Have an overcoming Friday in Christ Jesus.
