DESCRIPTION:Ockie will be one of the guest speakers at the MMC Border 2025.\n  \nETHOS OF MIGHTY MEN\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter careful consideration and planning in the wake of our Mighty Men Conferences with leaders and those who are potentially wanting to organize Mighty Men Conferences from now on wards\, the administration has advised that I would write down in principle what the speakers at the respective conferences will be addressing. \nThe background:\n– In 2003 the Lord laid in my heart that I needed to mentor young men (to be a spiritual father) \nThe message:\n– The messages preached from the platform need to be of a quality and standard that minister to men. \n– The men need to be :\n1. Prophet (leading the family)\n2. Priest (heading up the spiritual initiative in the home)\n3. King (being the primary bread winners of the home) \n– The messages must also include that apart from being the man of the home\, they also have to be men in the workplace. Whether it be the sport field\, the factory\, the farm\, the college\, the university they need to lead from the front.\n– Their physical\, spiritual and mental attitudes towards life must convey the fragrance of Jesus Christ in everything they do. In other words\, their lifestyles must match up to what they say.\n– They also must understand that they have a responsibility\, not only to the family\, but to the community and the nation.\n– They must be taught about responsibility when it comes to the management of finance\, of moral standards\, of Biblical principles.\n– We are not interested in personal opinions\, only God’s opinion.\n– Everything they preach must be qualified by Scriptural evidence.\n– We are not interested in quotations from men who have no standing in the sight of God.\n– Of course\, we understand that each man will have his own flavor\, his own way of presenting the Gospel\, and that is not a problem\, as long as the message remains the same. It must encourage men\, to be good fathers\, good husbands\, good leaders and good citizens for the benefit of the Kingdom of God. \nI would like you to know how honored and privileged I am that the vision which God laid upon my heart so many years ago is still spreading all over the world in all the continents on Earth. May God bless you and feel free to tell the world that Jesus Christ is the only role model\, the only answer and the only mentor we have. \nPlease remember we are not trying to limit or hold you back in any way. We trust that as you would preach this Gospel with fervor\, passion and love\, God will develop your own individual ministries as well. \nThe bottom line is that we have to be obedient to the Word and the vision that God gave to us at the beginning. \nYour fellow harvester in Christ \nAngus Buchan \n\nDay visitor & disabled person’s parking available
