Greetings beloved child of God.
Sometimes you create your own storms and get mad when it rains. God implemented a plan of redemption so that your relationship with Him would be restored. He desires to have fellowship with you. Do not let the comfort of your routine make you miss out on God’s remarkable plans for you.
He wants to bless you with something bigger than those cycles you are clinging to. Jesus had to purposefully disconnect from the demands on His time to be alone with His Father and become strengthened and encouraged.
Luke 6: 12 says, “Now it came to pass in those days that He went out to the mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.”
People were waiting to be healed, to be taught, to be loved. It was not easy for Him to do, but it was essential. It is not easy for you either. Your families and jobs keep you busy enough, but then there are friends, social media and the news.
Just like in Jesus’ day, there is always something to pull you away. The only way you can develop an intimate relationship with God, a relationship where you hear His voice and let Him mould and make you into the person He wants you to be, is when you push away the distractions and simply spend time with Him. I pray for protection over you from every evil plot of the enemy, in the name of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Have a reconnecting Wednesday in Christ Jesus.
